Riptide recognises the Wadawurrung People and the Gulidjan and Gadubanud Peoples of the Eastern Maar as the Traditional Custodians of the lands we live, work and play on, the land which provides us life and nurturance. We pay respects to these Peoples and extend this respect and thanks to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging. We deeply value and respect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples songlines, stories and dreaming, and the sacred spiritual connection and cultural significance of the land, waters and sky. Riptide acknowledges and firmly holds true that Sovereignty has never been ceded, always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Riptide fully embraces and celebrates neurodiversity through holding neurodiversity affirming practice central to how we walk alongside the people we support, but also how we move through the world. Riptide engages interventions that align with neuroaffirming principles that support the people we support embrace their uniqueness and learn how to prioritise and advocate for their needs.
